I believe that my clients and their individual needs come first. But in an industry flooded with new products and procedures, I must make sure that health and safety are never compromised. I therefore take a precautionary approach, always opting for safe and tested solutions.
Practicing massage therapist and esthetician since 1996, I specialize in deep tissue massage, eyelash extensions, and nearly painless waxing! Helped to pioneer custom airbrush tanning in Sacramento when it first arrived 20 years ago!
I have always been around the wellness industry and taught self care at a young age. My mother was a massage therapist working at a chiropractic office for 10 years. She spent countless hours teaching me her therapeutic techniques and touch sensitivity, one on one. She always told me, "You can't take care of someone else if you don't take care of yourself" and I try my hardest to always practice what I preach.
Remember that you can't pour from an empty cup. Everyday stress can have a negative effect on the body. In our busy lives it's easy to get caught up and forget about preventative care. Small aches and pains don't go away and can become serious. Skin issues that are ignored can become big problems. As with most things, it is easier to prevent than it is to correct. Regular maintenance saves you money in the long run and has a bigger affect than most of us realize. When you feel good, you look good and a positive attitude can change everything!
